Directions:
To find us you need to park in Iken Cliff Car Park (which is free to park) before walking to our base 2 minutes from there. The best way to find it is by using Google Maps (either clicking on the map below or searching for ‘Iken Cliff Car Park’).
Or, if you like to use what3words then click on: https://w3w.co/libraries.satin.revamping
Park near the bottom right hand corner of the car park. This is a public place so please do not leave valuables in the car.
Walk along the footpath and, after approx. 120m, head slight left downhill towards the river (not uphill to the right or hard left), keeping Jumbo's Cottage closely on your right, and you will come to the river and see our green corrugated and wooden boatshed below the cliff further along the footpath.
Without Sat Nav:
From Snape, go through Snape village, over Snape bridge (with Snape Maltings and the Plough & Sail pub on your left) and fork immediately left on the B1084 signed to Iken and Orford. One mile further turn left at the crossroads signed to Iken. After a short distance, take the first turning on the left to Iken picnic site (keep left and go under the 6'7" vehicle height restriction barrier).
If you are coming from the South (A12) or West, go over the A12 bridge at Wickham Market, follow signs to Campsea Ashe and then Tunstall. From Tunstall, follow the signs to Snape, but turning off right (signed to Iken) 1 mile short of Snape. Drive through the forest to the give way sign at the Iken crossroads. Go straight on, and then follow the instructions above.
